WATCH: A message from the Imperial Grand Chaplain, Rev William Murphy
Eighty years ago today, on May 26, 1940, King George VI called the country to a National Day of Prayer. In northern France, Operation Dynamo got under way – the evacuation of over 300,000 Allied troops from the beaches and harbour of Dunkirk. It became known as The Miracle of Dunkirk. In this video message, Imperial Grand Chaplain, Rev William Murphy, reflects on the value and power of prayer.
