Royal Black Institution welcomes joint unionist declaration on NI Protocol
The Royal Black Institution welcomes the recent announcement on Ulster Day by unionist political leaders that reaffirmed their opposition to the NI Protocol. Together with the other Loyal Orders, we would call upon our Prime Minister to restore our full citizenship of the United Kingdom and remove all barriers to trade between constituent parts of Her Majesty’s Kingdom. This must also include the removal of Northern Ireland citizens and territory from EU customs arrangements and the laws of the European Court.
The Royal Black Institution continues to press for the freedom to allow our members to continue and further develop social and responsible citizenship as full, free and equal citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, as outlined in our Mission Statement.
