Chaplain’s Thought For The Week

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

Coronavirus is certainly going to affect each of our lives and no doubt there will be great changes and challenges ahead of us in the coming weeks and months, but in these uncertain and worrying days we have a word of comfort in that we have an unchangeable God who is always our refuge and strength and a present help in times of our trouble. Psalm 46 is an encouragement for you to keep your hope and trust in God in these difficult days. Spend time with God in reading and meditating on scripture and spend time in prayer at the throne of grace, and look to the sovereign God to see you through the ups and downs of daily life.
